Brooksmade Gourmet Foods

As Executive Chef of Brooksmade Gourmet Foods, Walter Brooks oversees the direction of product development. Chef Brooks came into the culinary world via a non-traditional route. He is self-taught and began his career in catering and ultimately forayed into restaurants and food products. Chef Brooks is influenced by a rich southern history (Mississippi is his late father’s home) and Caribbean flavors (The Bahamas is the birthplace of his mother). Coupled with a Southern California upbringing, Chef Walter uses his expertise with the flavors of different regions and creates unique flavor combinations for use by home cooks and chefs alike. Chef Brooks is a member of SUSTA(Southern United States Trade Association) and Brooksmade Gourmet Foods is poised to enter the international market this year.
