This Habanero “soulful sauce” is a little bit hot, a little bit smoky and a lot delicious. Made with the finest ingredients including dark brown sugar, wine vinegar, tomato paste, real habanero peppers and spices, this sauce is inspired by Chef Walter Brooks’ Caribbean heritage. Add some fruity island warmth to barbecued ribs or smoked pork chops, sprinkle into a pot of chili or use it to toss meatballs (meat or plant-based!) and top with fresh herbs for an irresistible appetizer.

The story of Brooksmade Gourmet Foods starts a long way from the sauces, condiments and rubs you see before you. Founder Walter Brooks experienced food insecurity as a child, but his strong entrepreneurial drive led him to successful ventures in the hospitality and automotive industries. A life-changing medical event turned him to what would become his true passion in life: cooking.
